Having nice, clean, and soft feet are important because the feet are a clear indicator about our hygiene. Hence, people with ugly, dry, and cracked feet seem like they don’t pay enough attention to the body and lack proper care. Moreover, the feet are directly linked to our health and thus, they shouldn’t be neglected.
However, this doesn’t mean that you should spend a fortune on pedicures and products. Instead of spending money on products which might not be as effective as they should be, you should rely on natural remedies.
The feet can be damaged due to various reasons, such as lack of protection, improper care, sun exposure, and rough surfaces. As a result of these factors, the skin on the feet is naturally dry. In fact, the skin on the feet is usually much drier than the skin on the other body parts. This is because there are no oil glands in the feet, but only sweat glands.
Therefore, we decided to present you an effective homemade solution to this issue. This homemade solution is safe, inexpensive, and easy to prepare. Here’s how to prepare and how to use it:
Homemade Pedicure Solution
- 4 cups of milk
- 3 tablespoons of baking powder
First and foremost, you should heat up the milk and pour it into a basin and add the baking powder. Then, stir well the ingredients until you get a homogeneous mixture. Make sure the mixture is warm when you use it. Next, put your feet into the basin. You should soak them for 10 minutes and relax. Then, rinse your feet using warm water. Finally, pat the feet dry and apply a moisturizer, or coconut oil. Repeat this treatment on a daily basis until your feet become smooth. Afterward, perform this treatment once or twice a week.
